Lighting up the dark!

When is comes to these tail lights there ain't nothing like the real thing...forget those ugly fake LED things.

'Nuff Said!

The new 'stang.

I catch a lot of grief from people for liking Mustangs, but I still love the dang things.

When it comes to old school muscle cars GTO's are tops for me, but on late model muscle I have dug 'stangs since I was in high school.

It all started with my buddy getting a new '84 GT and me getting an '86 GT vert latter on.

I just picked up a new 2010 GT and love it.

I have also tossed in some pics of some of my other Mustangs.

My 2001 Bullitt (#457), a car I should have never let go.

Well, I goofed up and left my camera at home, so I don't have any car show pics.


My buddy Brewton came to town with his bad boy A-bone.


Before he headed out for home I took a couple of shots of the hot rods together for the first time.

Nissan Coupe - Gaya Retro 90an

Namanya juga karena lagi jaman. Jika lihat trend otomotif saat ini tidak lepas dari bahasan "retro". Segala macam majalah otomotif mengulas naikknya pamor mobil-mobil tahun 80 - 90 an yang orisinil saat ini. Tidak hanya itu, aksesoris-aksesoris mobil bernuansa 80 -90 an pun tak kalah naik daunnya.

Sebut saja mobil Toyota Corola DX, Nissan Sentra, Mitsubishi SL, Honda Wonder semuanya banyak dicari para penggemar untuk "dihidupkan" nuansa jadul nya. Lalu aksesoris semacam stiker garis disamping mobil, spion tanduk, velg yang aneh2 bentuknya tak kalah menjadi perhatian mereka.

Saya sendiri memiliki momen yang tepat. Pas ada kebutuhan kendaraan untuk operasional di Jogja, pas lagi musim nya Retro dan pas ada yang nawarin mobilnya. Adalah Nissan Sentra Coupe keluaran tahun 90 yang diiklankan empunya di internet. Saya penasaran untuk melihat, namun gambar mobil tidak ditampilkan. Akhirnya saya putuskan untuk bertemu dengan pemilik dan mobilnya. Penampakan dari luar mobil ini cukup komplit dan orisinil. Strip di samping kiri kanan pintu, spoiler, grill semua masih ada. Di dalam interior saya perhatikan tidak ada dashboard yang pecah dan door trim serta jok masih cukup orisinil meski telah dibungkus ulang dengan kulit yang lebih baru (aslinya seperti bahan beludru). Setelah saya coba mengendarai saya cukup puas dengan fungsi2 yang masih normal: power steering, window, rem, audio sistem dll. Akhirnya saya putuskan untuk propose ini ke istri saya untuk dijadikan mobil operasi di Jogja. Mudah2an tidak ada kendala yang berarti dengan mobil ini.
